About

Heather Moss is a self-taught artist that began painting at a very early age. Although born in Mobile, Alabama, Moss has lived in South America, Europe, and Asia.  She has also traveled the world and her own country. She is grateful to be an American.

Today Heather resides in the country side of Mississippi in a small quite town bordering Louisiana. She enjoys the peace that being surrounded by nature brings and has an endless resource of inspiration from the country side to the bayous and swamps of the area.

Heather paints primarily with Golden heavy bodied acrylics in addition to other Golden products. Occasionally she will use paint brushes, however, the majority of her work is created using pallette knives. The different shapes and sizes of the knives allow her to build up the paint which creates the three dimensional effect.

On a personal level, Heather Moss is a very spiritual individual and loves the Creator, God, Source...whatever you feel comfortable calling something so great that no one can really fathom or explain It. When she is not painting, she enjoys studying world religions, belief systems, philosophy and psychology. She also loves to be surrounded by her loved ones, share good wine, and always have room for more love in her life.
